From Dak

Honestly, I'm doing it because mental health is a big part of my journey (Dak) and how I got to be where I’m at today. In college I was faced with difficult times figuring out my true identity and self worth and almost ended my own life. It led me into dark times and it took me several years before I truly found myself. There were dark days and times I didn’t want to exist but I kept going. More people need to be told that they don’t need to have it all figured out at once and they’re not alone. The tough times are shaping you to become the person you’re meant to be. Comparison kills personality, just be yourself and don’t get in your own way and let your thoughts drag you down. The resources are out there, and I promise you people are always willing to listen to whatever you have to say. Keep going.
