From David

After completing the 2026 NYC Marathon with Team ULTRA, I’m heading to London in April 2027 to chase my next World Marathon Major. This race is especially personal. In 1996, my younger brother was diagnosed with cancer at just three years old. During his treatment, Make-A-Wish gave our family an unforgettable trip to Disney World. He was declared cancer-free in 1997, and that experience has stayed with us ever since. Now I’m running London in support of Make-A-Wish UK, with a goal of raising £3,000 to help create those same unforgettable experiences for other families. I’m looking for sponsors to help cover travel and race expenses so I can focus my personal fundraising efforts on the charity. In return, I’d love to highlight the businesses and people supporting the journey through race-day visibility and social media. Every bit of support means a lot, and I’m excited to bring you along for the ride.

Racing for Make-A-Wish UK

“I’m running the 2027 London Marathon for Make-A-Wish UK, a cause that’s especially close to my family. My brother received a wish during his childhood cancer treatment, and I want to help give other families that same joy. My goal is to raise £3,000. Sponsorships through FitSponsor help cover my race and travel expenses, while charitable donations go directly through my official Make-A-Wish fundraising page.” David Alvarez
